Daniel Smith?s Death Was Accidentally Fatal

Sometimes we become so obsessed by the fact of celebrity that we forget to look beyond the immediate headlines to see the sad reality beyond. Such is the case of the family of Anna Nicole Smith. Having lived a life of some notoriety, she died in her hotel room just over a year ago with a cocktail of eleven prescription medications in her system. Yet it is the earlier death of her son, Daniel Smith, that still lives in the headlines. So much tragedy in a single family!

Some ten days ago, the Bahamian court responsible for the inquest into Daniel’s death finally ruled that he was not a victim of homicide. He had been found dead in September 2006 with a mixture of Zoloft, another antidepressant Lexapro and methadone in his system just a few days after his mother had given birth to a daughter, Dannielynn. At a time when he should have been joyful, he was taking Zoloft. Since he only twenty years old, this use of Zoloft and Lexapro raises an interesting spectre which places the inquest in a rather more provocative light.

Having made the interim decision that Daniel was not a murder victim, the jury returned to its task of deciding whether the death should be ruled misadventure, an accident, as a result of non-dependent drug use or to leave an open verdict. One significant word is missing from this list which we shall return to in a moment.

This jury has had the benefit of a wide range of evidence from his stepfather, his mother’s attorney and his own friends. The court also learned that he had been treated for valium addiction. Their final ruling was that Daniel’s death was caused by the non-dependent use of drugs. The necessary implication of this finding was that he was neither addicted to Zoloft and the other two medications, nor did he understand the risk of death by mixing that particular combination in those quantities. After a four-month hearing (which is unusually long in the Bahamas), this would seem to be the end of the matter. The reason for the excessive care devoted to this case (in local terms) was the level of international interest in the cause of death. This verdict should satisfy that curiosity even though it was delivered on April Fool’s Day. But there is still one inevitable question mark because of the presence of Zoloft and Lexapro.

The Food and Drug Administration requires all Selective Serotonin Reuptake Inhibitors (SSRIs) including Zoloft and Lexapro to carry a black box warning. There is clear statistical evidence that Zoloft and Lexapro may increase the risk of suicide in anyone under the age of 25 years. Now, there is no need to second guess the finding of the inquest jury. Daniel did not jump from a tall building or obviously set out to injure himself. Nevertheless, to someone who was apparently addicted to at least one anxiety-relieving medication, using a combination of antidepressants as a means of suicide might seem ironically appropriate.

Further, a finding of non-dependent use seems unlikely. Someone like Daniel would not be using methadone for physical pain relief. The other principal use for methadone is to manage withdrawal symptoms by people dependent on opioids. Given the unpleasantness of the withdrawal symptoms from Zoloft and the other SSRIs, its presence is easily explained. But juries are always entitled to take a forgiving view. Here is someone whose life was already broken from a family whose very existence is fragile. Perhaps this verdict is the kindest thing anyone can say about such a situation.

He was born in Philadelphia in 1968 to a school administrator mom, and a refrigeration engineer dad. He became a big star on his popular television sitcom ‘The Fresh Prince of Bel Air’. Back then, he was seen wearing neon colors, hats worn backwards, baggy pants, and jackets turned inside out and different other mismatched outfits. He does not know it then, but he would later become one of the most noticed and adored African American celebrities ever to come to Hollywood.

Will Smith really became a big name in the Hollywood world for his killer style and killer looks after the movie ‘Men in Black’. This is because of his tall stature, wide broad shoulders, and his pearly white teeth. It is also because of the fashionable clothes that he expresses, or perhaps the positive fashion influence he gets from his very beautiful wife, Jada Pinkett-Smith.

With proven solutions and hundreds of implementations, return on investment (ROI) and profitability enhancement has been independently confirmed in university studies. Companies’ bottom lines are positively affected through the following results:

·        Improved operational efficiency by identifying profit leakages.

Happiness Prevails Invalidly: On Daniel B. Smith’s “is There An Ecological Unconscious?”

Happiness Prevails Invalidly: On Daniel B. Smith’s “is There An Ecological Unconscious?”

“Is There an Ecological Unconscious?” written by Daniel B. Smith was published on New York Times (nytimes.com) on January 27, 2010.

Obviously, the answer to the title is YES!

It is a human instinct (unconscious?our ancestors successful experiences saved on DNA) to find the safe ecological conditions where mankind can propagate offspring or keep DNA alive; If not so, mankind can not survive. (Re #1)

Everybody wants happiness, but not many people ask why. Even less people think that there are two kinds of happiness: valid and invalid ones.

The problem is that there prevails so much invalid happiness that causes serious trouble of ecological unconscious today. Still, few people think this can be solved via simply thinking by means of our very common sense as stated below. (Re #1-3)

Enlarged Home-Sick

Home sick is that one left his or her home and located in a new place, where the new conditions make him or her very difficult to cope with, and hence cause his or her mind perturbed in a very unsafe state and eagerly want to be back to home.

Common sense tells us that human mind or soul is the computation results of instinct and pre-instinct data, which control all the physiological as well as psychological functions of human. (Re #1)

The “solastalgia” (G. Albrecht) should fall in the same kind of enlarged sense of home-sick, as if the feeling of their living environment is to be lost and being nowhere to survive.

Culprit of Home-Sick

It is right that “We must look at the reasons people are not acting in order to understand how to get people to act.” (J. Swim). Obviously, to get people to act is to let them understand the foolishness of pursuing invalid happiness first, and then be at the optimal point of happiness. (Re #2)

Biophilia

Biophilia (E. O. Wilson) is naturally true if one believes that the human instinct of valid happiness is the momentarily feeling of things a step better for keeping DNA alive.

Biophillia is the very origin of human aesthetics. That is why people like babies, children, flowers, and nature with plants and animals. For the same reason, even astronauts do not like stay on the lifeless moon.

Everybody has to be biophillic; otherwise he or she will be in a circumstance where he or she can not survive.  (Re #1)

Ecopsychology (O. Doherty) must be based on this, too.

Ecotherapy

Ecotherapy is apparently effective if it is believed that human soul is the computation results of human instinct data, which are constantly polling of the environment conditions for safety, etc. with ultra high accuracy and precision. (Re #1)

If human soul finds an unsafe factor present, the brain will constantly focus on this factor and try its best to make it safe. Thus, there must be some other physiological and psychological functions that the brain can not pay enough attention as usual.

Hence, the ecotherapy works.

Rewilding

Obviously, the success of psychologically rewilding (P. Kan) should be based on a process of removing of invalid happiness rather than anything else. That is, maintain all the happiness valid close to or up to the 10,000-years-ago norm. (Re #1)

Soliphilia

Apparently, the best and easiest way to Soliphilia (G. Albrecht) is to diminish or eliminate foolish invalid happiness. (Re #2)

Conclusion

There is an ecological instinct, which constantly polls the safety data of environment. Today’s ecologically unsafe problem is caused by pursuing the invalid happiness too much. (Re #1-5)

CYBER ATTACK ON AMY SMITH’S BLOG – sequel 1

CYBER ATTACK ON AMY SMITH’S BLOG – sequel 1

Oh great — thought Amy to herself — it’s 8 p.m. — she grabbed her cup of tea.  It was  time to diligently start her nightly ritutal of blogging.

Let’s see — what will I blog about tonight?

“Oh hello my fellow bloggers — it’s Amy Smith — hope all of my followers on the blog arn’t bored out of their gourdes just yet!”

“Today at the office was a real bummer — the same aimless running around with documents –  false deadlines — you know — they just hammer these things out  — edit them to death — seems like your just a hamster running on a wheel  — doing the same things over and over!  Does this nonsense ever end?”

“Oh and my Yorkie has developed an awful habit — biting my boyfriend’s feet whenever he tries to hug me!  Oh, and if a kiss is anywhere in the works — his loud barking is enough to drive you completely nuts!  I know I love him — the Yorkie — his name is Rocky — by the way! I guess he loves me — the yorkie — so much — he doesn’t want to share, I suppose!”

“Well, I still have to go to my boring job tomorrow — that awful commute downtown — on the walk down Bay Street — homeless people always asking for money — I don’t keep change on me — then — I always feel guilty turning them down — I’ll have to remember to put some loose change aside for that!”

“Does anyone out there ever read this babble that I put out?  I havn’t been getting any comments — maybe my blog has a glitch — not surprising – it’s the first blog I’ve ever created!  It does show I have 100 followers though –  that’s good — I would think — for blabbing about my boring — everyday life — for a month!”

POP-UP:  A bomb will go off tomorrow at 8 p.m. when you start blogging!

“Who the hell are you, how have you broken into my blog?”

POP-UP:  Just hit a key-stroke tomorrow night and see what happens!

“What a load of crap — of course I’m blogging tomorrow night — you don’t scare me — stay off of my blog!”

Amy pissed off — hits log-off! Running her bubble bath Amy felt violated  — how dare someone break into her blog.

The next day at work, Amy phones the IT guy.  “Listen it’s Amy Smith, I have a personal question for you? I do a writer’s blog at night –  and I was wondering — is it possible for someone to actually break into your blog using a POP-UP while your typing?”

IT guy: “Hmmm — maybe someone has gotten through your firewall?”

Amy: “Who would do that?”

It guy: “A hacker!”

Amy: “What do you think I should I do?”

IT guy: “You should run a complete computer scan.  Probably just some crazy computer worm trying to infect your computer, it can happen – maybe some type of malicious spy-ware!”

Amy: “So the POP-UP threat — I should just ignore it?”

IT guy: “What do you mean threat?

Amy: “This deluded POP-UP claims — it will blow something up at 8 p.m. as soon as I start blogging.”

IT guy: “Wow,  that’s crazy!!!”

Amy: “I love my blog — I already have 100 complete strangers reading my blog”.

IT guy: Well, I would just run the scan — don’t let a silly POP-UP ruin your writing career.  You must be pretty good if you have a following already!  Keep up the good work Amy.  Don’t let the blogisphere intimidate you”.

Amy: “Thanks, I’ll run the scan — I feel better already”.

Finally, at 5 p.m. her boring office job over – Amy could hardly wait to get home to start blogging.

On her TTC commute she had an obnoxious guy beside her picking his teeth — yuck thought Amy.  Amy day-dreamed about becoming rich and famous from her blog.   How everyday people would feel so connected to her boredom — their own boredom — it would then culminate into the largest following of lost people — the office drones — people tired of their everyday commute — people sick of being poor — they would all cross-connect on Amy’s blog — inter-connected to the greater uncharted writer’s blogisphere!

Amy put the computer scan on as soon as she got home.  After eating a chicken breast salad she poured herself a glass of red wine.  She put her feet up on the couch and cuddled with her dog Rocky.  Amy finally checked on the computer and the scan said it had eliminated some cookies.  Great thought Amy to herself — Cookie Monster’s gone — problem solved!

Tonight I will blog about the close call I had with my blog – she told herself.  “Dear fellow bloggers: yesterday — some dam crazy POP-UP was threatening to blow up something in the neighbourhood — if I blogged at 8 oclock tonight.  Well luckily it turns out — it was just a couple of cookies — that had invaded my computer. I did not want to let you all down — my readership faithful”.  Amy hit the send button and her blog for the night was done.  LOG-OFF.

Sitting on the couch again before running her bubble bath – Amy suddenly heard on CITY TV about a small bomb going off in the washroom at Union Station at approximately 8 p.m. — luckily it was tiny and the washroom was empty — so nobody got hurt!

Amy felt a little panic run through her.  No she thought to herself — no way — was there a connection to her blog — that would be just too weird!

The next day at work: Mary her co-worker spoke up over Amy’s cubicle — “did you hear about that bombing last night?”  “Ya, I did said Amy — you don’t think it was connected in anyway to my blog?”.

Mary: “Of course not — your letting blogging paranoia set in don’t you think?”

Amy: “Well, if I get anymore strange POP-UPS with cyber-threats I`m calling the police”.

Amy almost ran from her desk out the door at the stroke of 5 p.m.  No cyber-threat is going to stop me from blogging she vowed.  It made her more determined than ever to blog away!  Although she thought the bombing at Union Station was weird she was sure it had nothing to do with her blog.  No way – nothing at all!

Will Amy get anymore cyber-threats stayed tuned for sequel 2.

Frank Kern And Trey Smith’s 4 Module “list Control” ? Product Review

Frank Kern And Trey Smith’s 4 Module “list Control” ? Product Review

Frank Kern and Trey Smith are about as popular as any marketers could ever be, even more popular it seems then some pop or rock stars we know. Their latest product is called “List Control” and has as of now hit the market. So what is list control all about, and will this product be the next “number one hit” from these stars of Internet marketing?

We all know who they are, Internet marketing would not be Internet marketing without the likes of Frank Kern and Trey Smith. These gentlemen have been the leaders in the industry for as long as the industry has been around. The latest of the products that they offer is called List Control in a 4 module series, and it does have some compelling ad copy that just sucks you in. The product is going to be in depth on not only building your list of clients and customers, but how to maintain that list and keeping them happy and purchasing your products and opportunities online continually.

For the first time however, Frank Kern will give out a couple secrets on how he comes up with the “killer” ad copy to grab the attention of the viewer and hopefully keep it. Other trainings involved will consist of marketing strategies on free advertising platforms. As far as Internet marketers that have already found success, these free platforms are great, and for the newbie who is low on funds these are great for gathering much needed traffic quickly. List Control does come at a low cost and will be considered the latest and greatest program from which there will be much information to glean.

This is a product review however, and as a successful Internet entrepreneur I will offer this. There are many products everyday that are launched online and packed with new…or updated information on Internet marketing. These programs will cost and if this is only the latest and greatest training there are still no guarantees that it or they will work for you so due your due diligence before your purchase. The issue of a single program I found was a factor for my decision to opt for a continuing style of training in Internet marketing. I  wanted to cut down the cost of buying one new program after the other. Considering the cost over the long haul, training that was added to at no more cost seemed drastically less than continually upgrading.

Frank Kern does know his stuff, and anyone in the world of Internet marketing would love to sit down and pick his brain for an hour. List Control does seem to offer a good deal of training in the list building aspect of Internet marketing and for some already in his program, this could be a good addition to the knowledge base that Frank and Trey have built.

The Best Songs by The Smiths Pt. 1

The Best Songs by The Smiths Pt. 1

The Smiths was an English rock band that was based around the Manchester singer Morrissey and guitarist Johnny Marr. Morrissey’s lyrics about youthful alienation and woe, and Marr’s shimmering, “jangly” guitar work have influenced numerous bands since, from Coldplay to Belle & Sebastian to Fallout Boy and The Cranberries. It is hard to pick the best The Smiths songs because they released so many classics, but here is a list of my own personal top favorite three songs by the seminal group.

“That Joke Isn’t Funny Anymore”

A strange choice for a radio single, this dour, downbeat song appeared on The Smiths’ second proper album, “Meat is Murder” and is Morrissey’s personal response to those who make light and make jokes about those who are sad and lonely. The song is about a car ride where the narrator’s partner makes the joke and in an extended monologue the narrator responds with a long, wailing series of “I’ve seen this happen in other people’s lives / And now it’s happening in mine” before the track finally ends and collapses upon itself. It was one of the lowest charting singles for the band, which was not surprising.

“Girlfriend In a Coma”

Possibly the straw that broke the camel’s back, guitarist Johnny Marr was repotedly growing more and more irritated by Morrissey’s insistence on singing some of his silliest and funniest lyrics over Marr’s most beautiful guitar work and orchestration. “Girlfriend In a Coma” is a slight, lightweight and catchy song about, well, a girlfriend in a coma. Morrissey mocks the girlfriend with his deadpan singing of “girlfriend in a coma, I know, I know it’s serious…” It is one of the group’s strangest and funniest songs and is a slap in the face to critics who say Morrissey could only write mopey, sad songs that you could read poetry to, or stare at your fish tank to.

The Best Songs by The Smiths Pt. 2

“Sheila Take A Boy”

The Smiths were more of a single band than an album band, and this non-album single that was eventually released on the compilation “Louder Than Bombs” saw them at arguably the peak of their performance. Opening with the quiticentially Morrissey-like line of “Is it wrong to want to live on your own?” he then goes on to write a sort of love letter to the titular Sheila, exhorting her to keep her head up and “boot the grime of this world in the crotch, dear.” The song ends on a happy note as the band’s bombastic rockabilly gives way to Morrissey final refrain “Throw your homework onto the fire / Come out and fine the one that you love.”

“What Difference Does It Make?”

One of the earliest The Smiths song, and one of Morrissey’s most bitter (which is saying something), “What Difference Does It Make?” is one of the band’s most danceable songs and features a powerful, steady beat by the rhythm section while Morrissey croons about being jilted by his lover because of his age. He rails against the unnamed lover for being so superficial, but admits throughout the song that he’d leap in front of a flying bullet for this person, and ends the song with “But no more apologies / I’m too tired / But I’m still fond of you.”

“The Boy with the Thorn in His Side”

Morrissey croons like Sinatra on a bar stool on this one. One of the band’s most beloved songs, it is also one of their most simple, with Morrissey essentially repeating the same verse twice and then ending the song with a coda of non-lyrical vocals. This enigmatic song with stellar shimmering guitar lines from Johnny Marr details what sounds like a lost or never-realized love, and the burning desire the protagonist has for that person. It could also be about a love that society or family will not accept, “How can they see the love in our eyes / And still they don’t believe us?” It is one of the The Smiths most popular songs because it is so vague and open to interpretation.

Is Daegan Smiths Maximum Leverage The ‘anti-System’?

Monday, August 23rd, 2010
Will Smith
by SeeMidTN.com (aka Brent)

Is Daegan Smiths Maximum Leverage The ‘anti-System’?

That’s right. I said it. Daegan Smith’s Maximum Leverage is indeed the ‘Anti-System’ and you are probably wondering why that is so.

With the advent of so many different ‘Attraction Marketing’ Systems to help you ‘duplicate’ and grow your MLM downline, literally there are tons to choose from nowadays, Daegan Smith’s Maximum Leverage takes a slightly, or should I say, hugely.. different approach.

See, even though systems are an incredible tool to rely upon until you develop your own individual marketing and leadership skills, just like any MLM, the Marketing systems are still not immune from collapse, or losing popularity, or worse yet… venturing off into other projects and abandoning the system alltogether, leaving you and your future downline in the dust.

Where Maximum Leverage is completely different is, is that Daegan doesn’t teach you how to rely on a system, rather, he puts control of your business back in your hands by teaching
you how to create your OWN System.

His Coaching program teaches you everything from building highly converting lead capture pages, to creating your own funded proposal product, to traffic and lead generation strategies, Copywriting techniques and anything you could ever need in order to create your  very own ‘profit producing’ automatic recruiting system.

Whether you realize it or not, this is absolutely crucial.

Because when you can control every aspect of your business, you can be more in control of the money flow in your business.

If you are depending on a 3rd party marketing system, exclusively, that could, in time, prove to be a disadvantage as people can use systems as crutches as opposed to modeling them to create their own.

So is Daegan Smith’s Maximum Leverage the Anti-System?

I would venture to say that not only is it the Anti-System, but it is built on the principles of True Entrepreneurship by ushering its students into complete independence by teaching them how to create their own Marketing funnels, Leads and Cashflow.

Time is running out however, if you want to try the Maximum Leverage Inner Circle Coaching Program before the 14 Day .00 Trial is Gone forever, you Must activate your membership right away, otherwise, you will miss out on the opportunity to not only try the Coaching program and put it to the test for only .00 (and then only Per month) before Daegan Raises the Monthly Tuition to 7.00!
