Daegan Smith – How Does He Create 1000s of Leads Daily?

Recently, I participated in a Daegan Smith instructional webinar where I was exposed to a lot of indispensable tips to increase your internet business.

Who is Daegan Smith?

Daegan Smith is an internet marketer. Daegan has generated up to 2600 leads on the net in a single day and he does not use affiliate marketing programs. He daily generates hundreds to thousands of new leads. He has enrolled over 3000 new associates to his network marketing business. And he has done this without calling a single lead.

Let’s begin with Daegan’s tale. He began on the web a little over 5 years ago at the age of 24. He had a job, just like most folks. Considering his life while showering for work one morning, Daegan noticed he had been going though the exact same habit for the last 6 months. Looking into the future, Daegan expected nothing to change – going to a job that did not fulfill him with small pay raises for the rest of his life. The thought freaked him out. He needed to change his career.

Daegan began watching infomercials on TV and decided to leap into real estate and purchased an apartment building. At a real estate seminar he heard about affiliate marketing on the net.

During his initial year, he threw stuff against the wall to see what would stick. He tried lots of things to see what would make some money. His belief went up as he earned some small commission checks. But nothing major.

At last found a an adviser who described the cause of many people’s failure Focus. Or the lack of it. At that point he had been introduced to the MLM industry. He decided to find out how to be a network marketer and coach others how to grow a business.

Daegan realized that to develop your business, you need a LOT of new leads.

He searched around internet to learn what people were doing to acheive success. He copied the successful marketers both on the web and off. He determined you require a few simple items.

1. A Lead Squeeze Page to get contact information from leads
2. An Auto Responder to communicate and develop relationships with people
3. A Direct Response Sales Letter to create conversions

Those are the simple, external requirements for your business. You also require some internal things:

What is the purpose for your business? The main error folks make is not defining a clear reason for their business. You need to be absolutely focused on what you are in the game to do. Don’t drive away without a GPS to guide you to your destination!

Understanding who you are and what you are doing will naturally attract the right people into your team.

The next factor is YOU! You have to be yourself. As yourself, you are perfect. Have fun! Trust in who you are and be passionate about your journey and others will naturally be attracted to you.

Daegan says that a love of learning is essential. Observe what others are doing. Find a coach or a mentor. Be prepared to be persistent to reache your goals. Remain positive and active and you will acheive the results you seek.

Lastly, you have to know no fear. Said another way, be willing to feel the fear, but take action and conquer it. You will become bigger and better.

Daegan advises using a Micro – Macro strategy. He starts small and then scales it up. This is what he suggests:

* Start somewhere, anywhere – perfection is not important now.
* Find out what you need to start from books or training. Understand your real learning comes from experience where you develop an intuitive understanding for what works and what does not.
* Get good and begin creating traffic
* Test several variations (offers, fonts and colors) and document your results so you know what works.
* When you have it perfected it is time to go macro. Get yourself out of the way by automating and go build the next goal.

Finally, Daegen returned to focus. Focus your efforts on getting leads, growing relationships and getting profit today. Your business will have ZERO competition if you follow this advice. It does not exist out there. Only in your mind can you be beaten.
