Project You Type 2: Quick Tips From Kathy Smith To Fight Diabetes

Project You Type 2 is a new lifestyle program that was designed by fitness expert Kathy Smith to help people with type 2 diabetes and prediabetics to change their life. The program designed in conjunction with the American Diabetes Association (ADA). The ADA fully supports the Kathy Smith’s lifestyle program as a means to help control type 2 diabetes and win the fight over the disease.

Project You Type 2 is not only an exercise program but is a full lifestyle program that gives expert advice on nutrition as well. It is strictly geared towards people who have type 2 diabetes or that have been diagnosed as being prediabetic.

With type 2 diabetes affecting over at least 20% of the United States population, something needs to be done about the disease. Americans are becoming more and more overweight which is only increasing the percentage of adults and even teenagers who are being diagnosed with type 2 diabetes. Here are some quick tips from Kathy Smith’s program Project You Type 2 to help you fight diabetes and win.

Get active. With Kathy Smith’s lifestyle program she gives you the workouts that are geared towards people with type 2 diabetes. You can take them at your own level, as long as you are getting up every day and doing something active.

Be sure to keep track of your progress. Project You Type 2 provides you with a Good2Go! Journal which helps you to keep track of everything you need to on your fitness journey. You can write down your weight, measurements, your blood glucose readings, the exercises you accomplished for the day, and any goals or thoughts that you have for the day. When you keep track of these things, you don’t have to search for your information and you also get to keep track of how well you are doing on the lifestyle program.

Be sure that you are making healthy food choices at ever meal or snack. You should always check with your doctor before you change your diet, but Project You Type 2 gives a laid out nutrition plan with several different recipes that you can make. You should not focus on no carbs when you have type 2 diabetes but instead focus on eating the right kind of carbs. This means you substitute your white bread for whole wheat bread.

These quick tips from Kathy Smith can get you started on your way to a healthier life. These tips, though, are not just for people with type 2 diabetes, these healthy tips should be implemented by everybody to avoid getting the disease in the first place. By eating healthy everyday, exercising, and keeping yourself accountable, you can easily win the fight over type 2 diabetes.

Cung Le (born May 25, 1972) is a Vietnamese American kickboxer, mixed martial artist, and actor from San Jose, California. He was the Strikeforce Middleweight Champion before stepping down to further pursue his acting career.

Cung Le was born in Saigon, South Vietnam. He fled his home country with his mother in 1975 as the city fell to communist rule (reportedly fleeing in a helicopter under machine gun fire). He ended up in San Jose, California where early racial bullying inspired him to learn to fight. His mother enrolled him in Taekwondo classes at the age of 10. Since those first classes he has absorbed a variety of styles, and was undefeated as a professional kickboxer (16-0). He is a three time world champion and also coaches his own team, which is now 11-0 in team competition.

Bryan Scott Smith, (born on May 21, 1979 in Reno, Nevada), is an American mixed martial artist previously fighting at middleweight for the Ultimate Fighting Championship making his debut at UFC 59. He also fought for EliteXC before it folded and currently fights for Strikeforce.

In the early half of his career, Smith – fighting at heavyweight – compiled victories in the International Fighting Championships and Gladiator Challenge shows across the United States. While successful in the smaller promotions, Smith’s first major appearance in the mixed martial arts world came in the World Extreme Cagefighting organization. Smith entered a WEC light heavyweight tournament with limited name recognition, but was branded by experts as the dark horse of the competition.
